To help students keep their college readiness skills sharp, College Board and Khan Academy will continue to provide free resources online

Important College Updates for Fall of 2020

  • Most seniors should have received your admission letters from the colleges and universities you applied to. If you got accepted into schools, whether they were your top choices or not, congratulations! Send us a message to let us know so we can celebrate you! This is a great accomplishment!

  • Stay connected - create portals and sign up for newsletters for all of the schools you are considering. Within those portals, you will find information about your financial aid packages, important due dates for each of the schools,  registration information for orientations, etc. You can find more information on virtual orientation sessions for different colleges and universities for admitted students or prospective students by visiting a school's website.

  • Update your calendars - some schools have extended their deposit deadline to June 1, 2020. Here is an updated LIST.

  • If your plans have changed for Fall 2020 due to unforeseen circumstances, do not worry! We are here to help! Contact the school counselor

  • UC is suspending the standardized test requirement for students applying for fall 2021 freshman admission. This is a temporary accommodation driven by the current circumstances.

  • UC has temporarily suspended the letter grade requirement for A-G courses completed in spring 2020 for all students, including UC’s most recently admitted freshmen. A-G courses completed in spring 2020 with Pass (P) or Credit (CR) grades will satisfy appropriate A-G requirements.
